Our Leather Goods

All our leather goods are handcrafted from animal hides of the highest quality sourced from world-class tanneries, including Wickett & Craig, who have been perfecting traditional craft of vegetable tanning since 1867. We use full-grain, vegetable tanned leather wherever possible for it's unparalleled quality and low carbon footprint.

About W & C Tannery

Founded in 1867, Wickett & Craig is a world premiere vegetable tannery. A labor-intensive method that requires skilled workers, veg-tanning is a natural, eco-friendly process that produces deep-colored leathers of superior quality. They have been perfecting the art of leather making for more than a 150 years.

About Vegetable Tanning

Natural, eco-friendly and time-honoured, vegetable tanning is a labor-intensive process that produces superior leathers full of character. Only approx. 5% of leather produced today are veg tanned.

About Full-Grain Leather

Full grain refers to leathers on which the surface layer is well preserved in the tanning processing, revealing an authentic, natural texture. Full-grain leather is the most durable and highest quality cowhide you can find.
